Born in Washington D.C. area and growing up in four different states, Sarah has now been living abroad for 20 years in Italy, Afghanistan and France.
She is a fine-art analog photographer and mixed media artist currently based in Paris. Intuitive, instinctive and with close attention to detail, Sarah’s art is a framing - or reframing - of the (seemingly) banal. It is a way of observing time and space and capturing the visual poetry that is often overlooked, yet ever before our eyes. It is what is to be found between here and there. It is observation and also introspection, a representation of her personal journey of living and expressing that process both tangibly and through abstraction.
Through varying mediums including analog photography, video documentation (short film), mixed media and textile work, she is expressing the deeper search for meaning and connection over our shared humanity.
